Position: Cook/Dietary Aide

Job Type: Part-time

Shift: Afternoon/Evening Shift (4:00-8:00PM, every other weekend)

Compensation: $15.00-$17.50 per hour

Duties:

  • Assist cook as needed

Infection Control/Wound Nurse ManagerFull-Time Day ShiftLincoln

Position: Infection Control/Wound Nurse (LPN or RN)

Job Type: Full-Time

Duties:

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, coordinate, and direct the infection control program in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care/subacute facility.
  • Ensure that the facility is in compliance with current CDC, OSHA, and local regulations concerning infection control, universal precautions, and COVID-19 regulations.
  • Develop, maintain, and periodically update infection control precautions and aseptic technique that successfully correct problem areas.
  • Monitor infection control practices and procedures to ensure that all personnel are implementing our standard operating procedures for tasks involving exposure to blood/body fluids.
  • Make rounds to nursing units for the purpose of case findings, review of environmental sanitation procedures, and supervision of isolation precautions/practices.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed in Nebraska.
  • BLS Certification
  • Current/Active RN or LPN License
  • Relocate before starting work

Position: RN (Registered Nurse) Home Health

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Day Shift (Primarily Mon-Fri. Weekends as needed. Schedule is flexible)

Compensation: $40.78-$44.40 per hour

Work Location: Home health travel in the Nebraska City area

Duties:

  • Makes the initial evaluation visit and regularly reevaluates the patient’s nursing needs.
  • Initiates the plan of care and necessary revisions.
  • Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
  • Informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the condition and needs of the patient.
  • Counsels the patient and family/significant others in meeting nursing and related needs
  • Determines the amount and type of nursing needed by each individual patient.
  • Conducts patient care conferences on patients assigned to his/her care.
  • Gives total patient care as needed.
  • Takes on-call duty nights, weekends and holidays, as assigned.
  • Completes and submits OASIS assessments, reassessments, transfers, resumptions of care, discharges and significant change in condition.
  • Works diligently with the Director of Clinical Services to ensure correct information during coding and OASIS reviews.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed in Nebraska.

Position: Medication Aide (CMA)

Job Type: Full Time and Part Time; $5000 Sign on Bonus (Full-Time)

Shift: Day Shift (8 hour & 12 hour shifts available)

Work Location: In person at 1800 14th Ave. Nebraska City, NE 68410

Duties:

  • Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals
  • Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showers
  • Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths
  • Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart
  • Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
  • Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
    Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
  • High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head
    Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Desired Skills
